Kevin Sullivan, CEO

With more than forty years' experience in all phases of the midstream industry, Kevin Sullivan has founded and successfully developed several midstream companies.  Mr. Sullivan created American Central Gas Company in 1983 leading it to be named America’s Fastest Growing Company by INC Magazine.  Mr. Sullivan through his many years in the midstream industry also founded, developed and sold Tyler Gas Company, GED Gas Resources, and Costar Midstream.  Costar was a full service midstream provider founded in 2011 with financial backing from Energy Spectrum Capital.  Costar developed infrastructure servicing East Texas oil and gas production, Bakken oil production and Permian gas and NGL production.  Costar was sold to American Midstream (NYSE: AMID) in late 2014.  Mr. Sullivan began his career with Conoco in the Natural Gas Products Division holding several positions including Gas Plant Foreman and Division Gas Buyer covering Texas and Louisiana.

Rod Donovan, COO

With thirty-six years of energy and midstream experience, Mr. Donovan was most recently with American Midstream (NYSE: AMID) responsible for business development in the Permian and Bakken. Mr. Donovan joined AMID during the Costar acquisition in 2014. Prior to AMID and Costar, Mr. Donovan began his career as a process engineer with Vulcan Chemicals where he had direct responsibility for the energy use and efficiencies of the plant operations. As a key member of the executive team, Mr. Donovan contributed to the growth of Aquila Energy from start-up to a 400 employee publicly traded organization supported by $350 million of acquired midstream infrastructure. Mr. Donovan moved on to a similar role as an officer of Western Resources, with direct operating responsibility for the Energy Marketing subsidiary and support of the asset development group, all of which was acquired by Oneok (NYSE: OKE). Mr. Donovan’s background includes key executive roles in new business development, plant operations and optimization, crude gathering, NGL and gas marketing, project and construction management.

Garrick Brown, CCO

Mr. Brown has over twenty years of experience in the midstream, private equity and finance industries.  Prior to Taproot Energy Partners, he served as CFO of Coronado Midstream where he was a key member of the executive team as Coronado grew to over 325 miles of gas gathering pipelines and 175 mmcf/d of processing capacity prior to its acquisition by Enlink Midstream (NYSE: ENLK).  Mr. Brown also served as CFO of Caliber Midstream, where he helped establish many of the systems and processes and placed the first debt facility for the Bakken-focused start-up midstream provider.  Before joining the midstream industry, Mr. Brown closed over 30 debt and equity transactions as an investment professional with two middle market private equity firms and remains an active investor and advisor to several early stage businesses.  Mr. Brown started his career as an analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions department at UBS.

Chelsea Williams, Vice President of Corporate Development

With over seven years of corporate development and corporate finance experience in the energy industry, Ms. Williams has closed over $1 B in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.  Most recently, she served as Principal Consultant for Token Financial Consulting, assisting oil and gas clients with M&A analysis, start-up strategy and corporate development needs. Prior, Ms. Williams served as Senior Associate of Corporate Development at American Midstream (NYSE: AMID). Previously, she was Senior Analyst at Macquarie Tristone, the upstream A&D advisory branch of the investment bank, Macquarie Capital.

Colin Moe, Vice President of Commercial Development

Mr. Moe has over nine years of oil and gas finance and commercial development experience. Prior to Taproot Energy Partners, Mr. Moe served as Director of Business Development and member of the inception team for Eureka Midstream, LLC. In this role, he was responsible for all commercial development aspects in the Marcellus and Utica Basin including deal sourcing, structuring and negotiating commercial agreements. Prior to Eureka Midstream, he worked for Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation performing various corporate finance tasks including debt and equity financing, forecasting, treasury, evaluating mergers and acquisitions, and project management.

Dale Hunt, Vice President of Engineering

With thirty-four years of oil and natural gas gathering, processing, and operating experience, Mr. Hunt has significant on-site experience resulting in engineering with a practical operational perspective.  During the second half of his career, he was a consultant for Allen Energy Services where he provided process engineering design and start-up support to midstream companies for multiple large and small projects in most of the shale plays.  The first half of his career was spent with ARCO Oil and Gas in many different gas plant assignments that included engineering supervisor, plant/project engineer, operations and maintenance supervisor, and measurement supervisor.

Dave Brazeal, Director of Operations

Mr. Brazeal has over ten years of oil and gas experience in midstream, and refining with a heavy construction and turnaround background. Most recently, he spent the last four years constructing and operating a 50 mile crude oil gathering system in the Bakken with Costar Midstream, joining American Midstream (NYSE: AMID) during the acquisition. Prior, Mr. Brazeal as the VP Operations of Portal Service Company for facilities and meter system construction, as well as full service to the upstream and roustabout activity in the Bakken Shale play. Five years of previous experience with WillBros in refinery construction, turnaround, and tank services. Mr. Brazeal began his career serving ten years on active duty in the Afghan and Iraqi theaters of operations in the US Naval Amphibious fleet, onboard USS Peleliu (LHA5) and USS Cleveland (LPD7).
